Beheading

Today at work we had the Knights of Mayhem visit. As part of the show they bring one lucky person out of the audience to reenact a mid evil beheading. The contest is to cut a melon as close to the top of the head as possible. This knight cut the melon about one inch from the helmet. They do this at a full gallop. The blade was sharp enough that I didn’t fill the blade pass through fruit. This was one entertaining day.

I will be taking a few days off for my daughters wedding.

Thank you for visiting.

Today’s photo is a little different. I was asked by my friend John Burton to take a photo of him for his web page. His page is set up to educate the voters of Northern Utah County on his positions as he runs for public office as a board member.
I normally don’t enter the public arena of politics, but I thought I would use my blog today to help a great educator out by bringing some traffic to his web page. John Burton has devoted his life to educating our youth. He has been a teacher, elementary principal, elementary principal supervisor, and now a teacher of university student teachers. He is currently running for a position on the Board of Education in the Alpine School District in Alpine, Utah. Please take a moment to look at his web page and the positions he stands for.
